The National Consumers’ League is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and non-denominational organization. The League was established in 1966 to:

• Provide consumers with information and advice on goods and services.

• Lobby government and business on behalf of customers.

The League:

• Serves as a Leader in consumer advocacy to ensure an acceptable quality goods and services.

• Maintains research on consumer-related issues.

• Seeks to ensure that remedial measures are taken against unfair trading practices.

• Functions as a source of reference for consumers.

• Monitors price movements and provides consumers with information on goods and services which provide good value for money.
