Final Affirmative Determination on Cement from Indonesia
On December 7, 2000, pursuant to Section 22 of the Customs Duties (Dumping and Subsidies) Act 1999 (CDDASA), the Anti-Dumping and Subsidies Commission, hereinafter called "the Commission", initiated an investigation respecting the alleged injurious dumping into Jamaica of Ordinary Portland Grey Cement originating in or exported from Thailand. The subject goods imported into Jamaica is normally classified under the Harmonized Tariff System Classification Number 2523.29.

Interested parties are invited to file written submissions presenting facts, arguments and evidence which they feel are relevant to this investigation. Written submission should be forwarded to the Commission at the address below. To be given consideration in this phase of the investigation, all such information must be received by January 14, 2001.

Any information submitted to the Commission by interested parties concerning this investigation is deemed to be public information unless clearly marked confidential. Where the submission by an interested party is confidential, a non-confidential version of the submission must also be provided which will be disclosed to other interested parties upon request.

A Statement of Reasons explaining this decision has been provided to persons directly interested in these proceedings. A copy may be obtained by contacting the Commission.
